Surgical Excellence, LLC provides a credentialing and peer review system based on a proactive approach to create an environment of quality, safety and clinical competence. Founded by eminent physician, legal and risk management leaders in the field of bariatric and general surgery, we offer an assessment and process review process for the bariatric or general surgeon under consideration for initial credentialing or when there is a recognized need to address peer review issues.

Credentialing
With quality as the basis of our culture, the Surgical Excellence, LLC Team shares their knowledge, expertise and assistance in areas vital to achieving success in addressing medical staff competence and performance.

Our goal is to proactively address event prevention with evidence-based competency and performance assessments based on specific criteria developed using the Surgical Excellence, LLC best practices model. All services are provided, as relevant, under the umbrella of attorney/client privilege, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Medical Peer Review
In addition to the process where a committee of physicians in the same discipline investigates the medical care rendered by a colleague, Surgical Excellence, LLC will use a specified case format that objectively looks at medical record documentation and subjectively reports on incident reports and complaints.
