Event Analysis

Surgical Excellence, LLC can assist hospitals by conducting an event analysis. The staff of Surgical Excellence, LLC has the expertise to:

• Support event management as events occur
• Analyze event management infrastructure/systems
• Evaluate events for quality improvement opportunities
• Evaluate events for clinical competencies and issues
• Provide a plan for implementing improvements involving events

An independent, third party review by Surgical Excellence, LLC can provide results that are non-biased and often times identify opportunities for process and clinical improvement initiatives. Using clinical and risk management experts on site, Surgical Excellence will interview key personnel involved with the event, tour the facility, and review relevant clinical documentation and policies and procedures.

A confidential comprehensive report will be provided based on the findings of the Surgical Excellence team’s review. This report analyzes the event and provides recommendations, and tools and strategies for implementation of recommendations.
