The review includes the use of an "audit tool," which was created in collaboration with leading bariatric and general surgery professionals from the clinical and risk management perspective. It includes review of the practice or program’s records, policies, documents and interview with key personnel. Ultimately the Surgical Excellence, LLC Team will generate a confidential report that includes a summary of the review as well as risk management recommendations. Those recommendations will include a suggested plan for implementation as well as tools and strategies to support the ease of implementation.
